Echoworx oneWorld-Email Encryption Without Boundaries

New Enterprise Solution Repairs The Fragmented World Of Encryption Protocols

TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 10/09/12 -- Echoworx, a leading provider of credential management and managed encryption services, will be transforming the email encryption industry with the upcoming release of oneWorld, a policy-based email encryption solution for multiple platforms.

This solution enables enterprises to choose the optimal delivery method-PGP, S/MIME, PDF, or even TLS-to send encrypted messages, making logging into the portal the last resort for recipients when wanting to receive and decrypt an email message.

"For the first time a oneWorld user can seamlessly talk to an S/MIME and PGP user without having to do anything special," says Michael Ginsberg, CEO, Echoworx. "This solves the issue of today's very fragmented encryption market and ensures users on different platforms can easily read encrypted messages using a variety of technologies, without the need for costly upgrades."

Because enterprises use a variety of encryption standards, recipients are often unable to decrypt and open messages when they receive them. With oneWorld the enterprise administrator on the sender side chooses from a list of technologies they would like to use ensuring a seamless experience for the recipient every time.

In addition to PGP, oneWorld interoperates with:

-- End-to-end TLS (transport layer security) encryption
-- S/MIME encryption using X.509 certificates
-- Encrypted PDF attachments
-- Domain encryption for emails encrypted with a domain certificate
-- Secure Web Portal, a means for users with no decryption capabilities to
pick up messages from any device, including mobile

About oneWorld

Echoworx oneWorld is a managed policy-based encryption solution without boundaries. It supports PGP, S/MIME and TLS and provides organizations with an easy way to enforce email encryption without changing the way employees send and receive emails.

It puts the control back in the hands of the Enterprise, enabling the IT administrator to manage the organization's entire infrastructure from one central location.

The policy engine encrypts the messages based on pre-defined corporate policies and enforces compliance by associating rules to specific content. All encrypted messages are digitally signed and can be validated to prove compliance.

oneWorld is scheduled for release in November, 2012.
